SMS Opt-In Script — HUDLERY Notifications

Last updated: August 7, 2026

HUDLERY is a private, invite-only communications platform. Phone numbers are associated with registered member accounts inside the HUDLERY application after explicit consent is obtained. This page documents the exact verbal script used when collecting consent for the HUDLERY Notifications program (automated account and invite messages generated by the application).

Verbal opt-in script

Before a phone number is entered into a member’s account in the HUDLERY system, the Administrator reads the following and waits for clear agreement:

"As a registered member of the HUDLERY application, you can receive automated text alerts for room invites and account notifications — for example, being added to a conversation room, or a notification that your account password has been sent to the email address on file. Message frequency varies, typically up to 8 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply HELP at any time for help, or STOP at any time to opt out completely. Would you like to receive these messages from HUDLERY?"

The Administrator only enters the phone number into the HUDLERY application after the member replies "yes" or otherwise clearly agrees. If the member declines, no phone number is entered and no SMS messages are sent.

Automated confirmation

Immediately after a member’s number is saved in the system, the HUDLERY application automatically sends a one-time confirmation text restating the program name, frequency, rate disclosure, and HELP/STOP instructions.
